• IMPORTANT  message is for parents and guardians of incoming 7th graders

Texas law requires that all incoming 7th graders provide proof of additional immunizations to attend school. The required vaccines are:

    > -TDaP within the past five years

    > -Meningitis (MCV4)

    > -Second Varicella (2nd Chicken Pox)

These immunizations are available at your child's primary Doctor's office and the Health Department at 815 N. Broadway. You can contact the Health Department at 903-510-5604 for current dates and times these immunizations are available. As the Health Department gets very busy closer to the beginning of the school year, it is best to go early in the summer. You may fax the written proof of the immunizations to 903-565-5125, attention Nurse or scan and email the document to mcmullene@chapelhillisd.org.

Public Notice: Each year Chapel Hill ISD accepts referrals for students who may need Gifted/Talented Services for the school year. This program is designed for students who exhibit intellectual and creative thinking abilities at an extraordinary level not normally served in the regular classroom. Services are provided only upon identification of education needs of the student. Anyone wishing to refer a student attending Chapel Hill ISD in kindergarten through twelfth grade this school year is asked to go by the student’s campus office and request a copy of the referral form. This form must be returned to the school by January 15th for Kindergarten, and April 15th for Grades 1-12. Those unable to go by the school should call the campus counselor to request a form be sent to them.
